Austin is our
very first Papillon and my devoted service dog. His quick mind and outgoing personality make him a great
working companion.
Austin has become a very important part of my life. He is what some
would call my "heart" dog. If ever there was a
doggie soul mate, Austin is mine. We
have been training on some more advanced obedience tasks as well as some various
agility obstacles. Anything I ask of this boy he does with a tail wag and a happy step. I couldnt ask for a better, more devoted partner.
Most of all Austin LOVES to tunnel and if we can ever get him to speed up a bit more we'll be working more onto his agility career. Here is a video of Austins first weekend out at a UKC agility trial where he not only recieved points towards his first leg but also placed second in his height division!
June 16, 2007-
Austin completes his Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors during the Sirius About Dogs Festival.
July 29, 2007- Austin
completes his TDI test. He breezed through the test and was only temped once by
the cookies! We can't wait to begin his therapy work.
October 19, 2008 - Austins father Raven Crest Ripple-N-Tyme completes
his canine good citizen test and is now a certified therapy dog. Ripley is the
sire of two UKC Champions and the #4 papillon in ukc for 2007. He is also
a sire of two generations of working therapy dogs.
